In a time of recession, it is exciting to see a new business opening, instead of closing. Synergy Hair Design at 6813 Old Trail Road opened on March 14 and even in these economic times, owner Melanie Milner feels very good about her decision to open a second salon. She owns another salon named Bella Voi Hair Design located at 2324 E. Hobson Road. She knows what it takes to run a successful salon. You need good stylist, a clean and friendly environment, and to be able to provide quality services at affordable prices. When asked what does the name Synergy mean, it was described as a situation where two parts come together for the final outcome. In the context of your hair, you and your hairstylist will work together to arrive at the style you desire that best fits your face and your lifestyle.

When you walk into Synergy you will notice it is not the same old salon that had been there for the last 10 plus years. The salon is freshly painted with a tranquil blue-grey color and with several walls torn down it gives an open and airy feel. There is a water fountain running at the front desk where you are greeted by one of the friendly stylists. The salon employs five experience stylists, all bringing to the salon their own variety of skills.

Synergy is excited to be here in Waynedale to serve its neighbors. Synergy is a full service salon. That means the salon provides services such as, haircuts, color services, relaxers, perms, manicures and pedicures and waxing services. All at reasonable prices. The price of an adult haircut is $16 and color services start at $45 and relaxers at $55. They also provide extension services starting at $60. Keep an eye on their marquee for specials.

They accept checks and cash and plan to accept debit and credit cards in the future. The salon is open Tues-Thurs 10am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday 9am to 4pm. They accept walk-ins, but you can also call to make an appointment at 747-4693. Remember your local businesses need your support. Go and check them out. Also keep an eye open for them at the Community Picnic in August. They have supplied a gift certificate for our local picnic give-a-ways.
