FORT WAYNE FLYERS WIN REGIONAL

The local ‘Fort Wayne Flyers’ National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) Team recently won its regional tournament, in Angola/Fremont, Indiana on Friday, July 11th. They are off to Hopkinsville, Kentucky for the league World Series that began July 16.
This team consists of dedicated and talented 14 and under kids working hard to reach their goals in every aspect of life. Their friends and family couldn’t be more proud! Some live here in Waynedale.
The coach, Ron Dantzer, Jr., who was also a ‘local kid’ and his brother Scott Dantzer have been coaching this group for years. This was a dream come true.
