BEAUTIFUL YOU UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP
Jana Bearman, originally from Hoagland, has purchased the Beautiful You Styling Salon in Wayne Plaza on Bluffton Road.
Jana is planning a Customer Appreciation Day/Open House in June and continues to learn the fine points of operating her own business. She is not new to the styling business as she completed beauty classes while attending Heritage High School. She graduated from Heritage in 1976 and continued her training by graduating from Ravenscroft Beauty College.
After Ravenscroft she decided to go to school for computer technology, graduating from Ivy Tech with her associates degree in computers. From Ivy Tech Jana went to work for Verizon. After 22 years of working in network engineering, Jana took a buyout from Verizon and decided to go back to her dream of owning her own salon.
“It has been a challenge getting back into the business,” Jana said. “But I have always kept my license current and I have maintained the same group of women previously employed at Beautiful You.”

Jana is married to Troy Bearman. They have 2 adult children, Amanda and Rowdy and one pre-teen, Gabrielle.
