YBARRA MAKES DEANS LIST
Local Waynedale athlete Michael Ybarra, son of Art and Valentina Ybarra, was recently recognized for his academic accomplishments at the University of Saint Francis and will appear on the Deans List for the fall semester of 2007.
Ybarra is currently a junior at St. Francis and is attending on baseball and academic scholarships. He is majoring in Physical Therapy, while continuing his baseball career.
As a two-year starter, he played middle infield and relief pitcher. This upcoming season he has been moved to starting pitcher rotation because of his internship.
He soon will travel to Florida with his teammates on spring break to start the 2008 season.
