NINA F. POEPPEL, 66
NINA F. POEPPEL, 66, of Columbia City, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at Renaissance Village Nursing Home. Born July 14, 1939, in Fort Wayne, she was a cashier at Maloley’s, Rogers and Kroger Grocery Stores, retiring from Kroger. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters, Karen L. Poeppel of Columbia City and Linda (Ronald) Deardorff of Morristown; son, Glenn (Theresa) Poeppel of Fort Wayne; brother, Glenn (Barb) Leaming of Avilla; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Friday, April 14, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior to service. The Rev. Dave Adams officiating. Visitation was Thursday, April 13, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
