JEAN HORNBERGER, 83
JEAN HORNBERGER, 83, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, April 10, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital. Born November 1, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Raymond P. Miller and Nelle (Tanis). She was a homemaker and member of Waynedale United Methodist Church; United Methodist Church Women, Elmhurst Garden Club, Home Economics Club, Herb Gardeners, and a Botanical Conservatory volunteer.
Surviving are her husband, John “Jack” G. Hornberger of Fort Wayne; one son, John Hornberger of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Sharon Mills of Orient, Ohio, Sandy (Randy) Plummer and Jodi Teague, both of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Michelle, Michael, Laura, Corey and Adam; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Thursday, April 13, at Waynedale United Methodist Church. Visitation was Wednesday, April 12, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
