CLARA J. (QUICKERY) PIATT, 88

CLARA J. (QUICKERY) PIATT, 88, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, March 13, 2006, at Renaissance Village. Born December 23, 1917, in Fort Wayne, she was a department manager for and retired from L.S. Ayres. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

Surviving are son, Rick (Joann) Piatt of Columbia City; brothers, Richard, Gene and Wilbur Quickery, all of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Jason Piatt and Adrianne Piatt; and two great-grandchildren, Jason A. Piatt and Christina L. Piatt.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jack Piatt, in 1990; and brother, Robert Quickery.

Private funeral service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
