KAREN “SUE” RANEY, 64

KAREN “SUE” RANEY, 64, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born October 31, 1941, in Van Wert, Ohio, she was a real estate broker for Re/Max Results and a member of ABR, CRS, GRI and received the Hall of Fame award. She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church. She married John W. Raney on September 22, 1962.

Surviving are sons, Jon D. (Shelley) Raney and Glen Ted (Holly) Raney, both of Fort Wayne; daughters, Pollianna (David) Beerman of Charleston, S.C. and Kimberly Freeman of Merrit Island, Florida; sisters, Janet Crowe and Evelyn Breece, both of Van Wert, Ohio; brothers, Jerry Beard and James Beard, both of Van Wert, Ohio, and Richard Beard of New Haven; stepmother, Mary Cowgill of Van Wert; and nine grandchildren.

Service was Monday, January 30 at Saint Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, Fort Wayne. Celebration of Life was Sunday, January 29 at the church. Arrangements by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.

Memorials to Emmanuel-Saint Michael Lutheran School, Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or Families Helping Families Fund.
