ALFRED E. BOWLBY, 59
ALFRED E. BOWLBY, 59, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, August 2, 2004, at Applewood Health & Rehabilitation Center.
The Whitley County native is survived by his daughter, Leona (Vincent) Preston of Fort Wayne; and two grandchildren, Eddie and Jessica. He is also survived by his sisters, Shirley (Richard) Stilwell of New Haven, Sharon Lopshire of Bronson, MI, Carolyn (Burton) Pyle of Fort Wayne, Judy (Edward) Schmidt of Coldwater, MI; brothers, Gerald (Pam) Bowlby, Howard (Martha) Bowlby and Michael (Kathy) Bowlby, all of Fort Wayne, Kenneth (Donna) Bowlby of Schuyler Falls, N.Y., Robert (Marlene) Bowlby of Carson, WA; companion and caregiver, June Beaty of Fort Wayne; longtime friend, Patrick (Gloria) Minnick of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Josephine Bowlby.
Friends called Monday, August 9, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 2403 E. Wallen Road. Graveside service was Monday, August 9, at St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery, US 24 East, New Haven.
The preferred memorial is the family.
