LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Dear Editor,
I belong to Boy Scout Troop #876 in Savannah, GA. I spend the summers in Indiana and take part in Waynedale’s Troop #344 and go to Camp Little Turtle with them.
I enjoy reading the Scout News in The Waynedale News and I liked reading about Troop #344 winning the Klondike Derby last winter. My grandparents send me the articles about the troop.

Dear
Cindy,
The Girl Scouts who took part were members of Troops 904, 394, 850, and 704.‑
Most were Brownies and marching in their first parade.‑ The girls recited their Girl Scout Promise as they marched.‑‑ We all were very pleased by the wonderful response from the people of Waynedale to the girls.‑ I don’t think the girls ever expected applause!‑ The girls and leaders wore the names of deceased‑veterans.
They were all very impressed by the ceremony.‑ I do believe they have a better understanding about what Memorial Day is all about.
Sincerely, Linda Chrisman
