ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION SETS BANQUET DATE
The East Central Indiana Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) will hold its Fifth Annual Big Game Banquet and Auction at the Holiday Inn, Interstate 69 at exit 26 in Anderson, Indiana on April 17, 2004.
RMEF is an international, nonprofit wildlife organization dedicated to ensuring the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. There are 115,000 active members, 10,000 volunteers, and around 550 local chapters throughout North America. They have generated millions of dollars to conserve and enhance more than 4 million acres of wildlife habitat. The average cost of conserving one acre is $136. Through the generosity of people like you, this small local chapter has collected over $30,000 in just four years to help this cause.
The guns featured at this year’s event will include a Remington Model 700BDL in 300 Short Action Ultra Mag, a Browning Lightning BLR in 7MMRem. Mag., a Ruger Deluxe Sporter 10/22, a Rogue Rifle Company Chipmunk Single Shot .22, and a RMEF Commemorative BB Gun Daisy/Winchester Model 1894. Tickets are $25 per meal and $30 for a one-year RMEF membership and a subscription to Bugle Magazine. The social hour will begin at 5:30pm, followed by the banquet at 7pm.
They are offering an “Early Bird” special on the General Tier Raffle tickets. For any additional information, please contact Rich Creason at 1-765-649-8482 or Greg Weston at 1-765-640-9063.
