BARBARA JEAN HECKMAN, 73

Barbara Jean Heckman, 73, died Thursday, October 23, 2003 at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she was an LPN at Lutheran Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and was a volunteer doing a lot of telephone work at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

She is survived by daughters Cynthia (James) Gerke, Fort Wayne; Bonita (William) Cook, Fort Wayne; Pamela (Dennis) Strater, Fort Wayne; son Terence (Theresa) Heckman, Fort Wayne; brother Allen (Barb) Zoch, Columbia City, Indiana; 8 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, October 27, 2003 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
