Two former auctioneers and furniture store owners decided to leave the auctioning business. In May of 2001, Duane and Rosemary Miller shifted their 27 year old family business emphasis to furniture. They are located on Bluffton Road and US224. Their central location brings them clients from southwest Fort Wayne, Huntington, Markle, Ossian, and Bluffton.

“We like doing business the old fashioned way”, stated Rosemary Miller. It is just myself, our two kids Doug and Cindy and employee Sue Hupp. In 2002, Rosemary’s granddaughter Stacy and her husband Scott opened ‘Oak Comforts’ in part of the store. Stacy Clupper is the Blackford County Extension Educator and an Agriculture Deans Deputy at IPFW. Her husband Scott is a Van Buren Volunteer EMT and is a Civil Engineer Tech for Natural Resources in Huntington.

Cindy explained, “We enjoy dealing with everyone on a one to one basis and keeping on friendly terms with our customers. We keep small town values and offer big time savings.” Kingsland Furniture is just a short dive from the Waynedale area. Drop in for some old fashioned hospitality.
