JACK L. CARTER, 57
Jack L. Carter, 57, died Friday, January 17, 2003 at his home in Bradley, Illinois. A native of Fort Wayne, he worked at K-Mart Distribution Center in Manteno, Illinois. He was a member of Avalon Missionary Church and a U.S. Marine Corp – Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Karla M. Carter, Bradley, Illinois; son Jerrod Carter, Zionsville, Indiana; daughter Lisa Salinas, Kankakee, Illinois; mother Martha Jane Ray, Defiance, Ohio; sisters Judy Butter, Fort Wayne; Georgienna Westrick, Jewell, Ohio; Patricia Ray, Defiance, Ohio; Barb Kneisley, Defiance, Ohio; Shirley Milliman, Fremont, Indiana; Tamera Buckley, Houston, Texas; brothers Jim Carter, Bryant, Alabama; Roger Ray, Defiance, Ohio; George Ray Jr., Defiance Ohio; Kevin Ray, Bryan, Ohio; Mike Ray, Fremont, Indiana; and 1 Granddaughter.
Services were held at Northside Missionary Church with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to American Cancer Society or Sloan -– Kettering Cancer Center. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
