CHARLIE RATHSACK, COMMANDER AMERICAN LEGION POST #241
CHARLIE RATHSACK, Commander American Legion Post #241, 7605 Bluffton Road, Waynedale served in the U.S. Army. Commander Charlie served during the Korean War (1949-53). As a Squadron Leader in the 16th Infantry, he was later transferred upon request, by the 1st Division Provost Marshall to the 1st Division Military Police (1st Division Military Police is the oldest Military Police Company in the U.S. Army). During his tour they were the only Military Police with a squadron of (18) Harley bikes.
The 1st Division 1st Military Police Company were the escorts-the guards-and final sentence providers at the Nuremberg War Crime trials after World War II.
Currently Commander Rathsack is also Judge Advocate of the 4th District.
