Two Bird Banding Workshops!
Presented by: Jim and Janet Meyer, Ornithologists
Jim and Janet Meyer have been banding birds for more than twenty years. The data they collect is compiled by the Bird Banding Lab and ornithologists researching bird populations and migration patterns. Jim and Janet have banded more than 23,000 birds, a procedure that does not harm the birds, which are quickly released. Join us for this fascinating and important procedure, which helps track our native bird populations.
