LAST CHANCE FOR GIRL SCOUT COOKIES
Girl Scouts from Waynedale’s Junior Girl Scout troop #20901 selling Girl Scout cookies during a booth sale. Since the annual cookie sale ends March 9, you do not have much time left to stock up on your favorites. Remember that the cookies do freeze well, so purchase Lemonades now for those summer family picnics, Shortbreads to make crust for cheesecake desserts, and Peanut Butter Patties and Thin Mints just because you like ‘em so well!
Junior Girl Scout troop #20901 wishes to thank Waynedale residents and businesses (American Legion Post #241, Scott’s, and Walgreens) for their support this year. Troop members have two more cookie booth sales scheduled at Umber’s Do It Best Hardware (2413 Lower Huntington Road) on Saturdays, February 27 and March 6 from 10am to 2pm.
Stop by to support Girl Scouting in your local community.
Girl Scouts sell cookies to earn camp credits and funds for service projects, troop activities, and special opportunities. Every Girl Scout activity directly relates to Girl Scouting’s purpose of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Through the Girl Scout Cookie program, girls practice life skills like goal setting, money management, marketing, and teamwork—and they have fun!
