EXPANDING IN WAYNEDALE

Michael Romary, President with M.E.R. Group is the project developer, with a cost expected to exceed $2 million. Tower’s President Curt Brown commented, “Tower Bank already serves many businesses in Waynedale.”
In addition to the bank, the more than 13,000-square-foot office park will hold up to five tenants. The old Walgreens/Maloley’s building now occupies the lot where the new office complex will be built.
Fourth District Councilman Tom Hayhurst has been involved in the project for some months now, and has been holding off announcing the details until all the loose ends were tied up. The location at Lower Huntington and Old Trail has been occupied by at least four other businesses over the last fifty years. It has been a Kroger, a Maloley’s Bros., a Walgreens, and most recently, Shoppers World.
