VIRGINIA VALESKA BOVEINE EVANS, 88

Virginia Valeska Boveine Evans, 88, (formerly of Fort Wayne) died Sunday, June 29, 2003 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a school secretary for 12 years in Cleveland, Ohio and also in Fort Wayne Community Schools. She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by husband Lester Evans and a son Richard Evans.

She is survived by companion William Gregory, Fort Wayne; daughters Dorothy A. “Dot” Mathias, Colombia City; Donna K. Simmons, Cleveland, Ohio; aunt Violet Boveine, Fort Wayne; 8 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Services were held Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
