M. ISABELLE COTTON BROCKWAY, 91
M. Isabelle Cotton Brockway, 91, of Havelock, North Carolina (formerly of Fort Wayne) died Friday, June 27, 2003 at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern, North Carolina. Born in Bippus, Indiana, she was a homemaker, a member of Our Home Rebekah Lodge #817 – Past PDDP 1983 & 1985, Ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant to Canton #17 Past President, Ladies Encampment Auxiliary Kokomo #61 Kokomo, Indiana, and a 70-Year member of Rebekah Lodge. She was also a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by husband Steven E. Cotton, who passed away April 1979 and by daughter Ellen Mae Kline.
She is survived by her husband Claude E. Brockway, Havelock, North Carolina; daughter Ruth Lanore Knudson, Long Beach, California; sons Wallace Lee Cotton, Sumter, South Carolina; Gerald Cotton, Havelock, North Carolina; stepdaughter Debra Carol Chitwood, Fort Wayne; stepsons Thomas Lee Brockway, Fort Wayne; Kenneth Eugene Brockway, Fort Wayne; son-in-law Harold W. Kline, Huntington; 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren 6 step-grandchildren, and 14 Step-Great Grandchildren.
Rebekah Lodge Services were held Tuesday evening, July 1, 2003 and burial services were held Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Maplewood Cemetery (Nine Mile) Nine Mile, Indiana. Memorials to I.O.O.F. Education Foundation.
