CURVES 9TH ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE
Waynedale Curves will be participating in the Curves food drive to benefit local food banks, from March 1 – March 10, 2007.
Last year, the Curves food drive collected 11 million pounds of food for local communities all over the world.
To celebrate the generosity of the community, Curves is waiving its normal service fee for any new member who brings in a bag of non-perishable groceries and joins between March 1st and March 10th. Last year, more than 247,940 new members joined Curves during the food drive.
Others wishing to donate may drop off non-perishable food items at Curves Monday through Saturday during business hours through the month of March.
The Curves food drive promotion is always exciting. This is a great opportunity for women to take advantage of what Curves has to offer while doing something good for the community. This is a chance to help so many people at a time when the food banks are at their lowest. It additionally assists more women in reaching their fitness and weight loss goal. It’s a win-win situation for everyone, and Curves is very proud to participate.
