“THE SMOKER” GENTLEMEN ONLY!
For the 20th straight year, the St. Joseph Hessen Cassel annual Notre Dame Football Smoker will be taking place on Sunday, February 28, 2016. This milestone occasion has long been an off-season, must attend event, for many Fighting Irish football fans around the area.
“The Smoker”, as it is often referred to, is a gentlemen only event that provides an electric atmosphere of food, drinks, casino, and even duck races! Pay your $25 at the door, or $20 for pre-sale, and have your money ready as you enter because you will want to take a chance on some excellent door prizes. This year’s line-up of prizes include: a TV, gun safe, workbench, YETI cooler, $500 Gander Mountain Gift Card, 50/50 raffle, and more! Your ticket in will get you all of the food and drinks you want for the afternoon and the opportunity to hear graduating senior Notre Dame Football players talk about their experience at Notre Dame. Meanwhile, try your luck at the money wheels, poker tables, tip-boards, oh and in case you missed it, the duck races!
The St. Joseph Hessen Cassel Notre Dame Football Smoker is a major fundraising event for the school. The money raised at the event has, over the years, helped to significantly improve the school and activity center facilities. These facilities are home to an excellent parochial education, and host to many CYO sporting activities throughout the year.
The event is from 12:30-5:30 PM. All males must be 21 years old to enter and are encouraged to have a designated driver if they plan on drinking. For pre-sale tickets, call Jay at 260-445-6054.
