RAYMOND “RAY” HOUT, 87

RAYMOND “RAY” HOUT, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Riverbend Health Care. He was born October 22, 1927 in Robinson, Illinois to the late Willie R. Hout and Clara M. (Gaddis) Reardon. He worked most of his life as a truck driver and then worked 10 years in food service at the V. A. Hospital. He was an Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Marsha Hout of Fort Wayne; step daughter, Shari Jean Carmichael of Leo; five additional step children; half-brother, Monte P. Reardon of Fort Wayne; a number of step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and his faithful companion, Tally.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred R. (Mills) Hout; and sisters, Juanita I. Steinbacher and Shirley M. Augustyniak.

Funeral service will be on June 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Visitation will be on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
