DOROTHY JOAN FRITZE, 84

DOROTHY JOAN FRITZE, 84, of Fort Wayne passed away, Friday, June 5, 2015 at Hospice Home. She was born January 3, 1931 in Fort Wayne to the late Bert Byron and Marie (Hegerfeld) DePue. She was a homemaker along with working in sales at J. C. Penney until 1979.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and a Lioness member of the Waynedale Lions Club.

Surviving are her daughters, Linda (Chuck) Heintzelman and Karen (Mike) Cazzell, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Bert B. DePue, Jr. of North Webster; grandchildren, Chip (Jill) Heintzelman, Torey Heintzelman, and Lynsey (Tony) Ensch, all of Fort Wayne, and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Fritze in 2007 and daughter, Barbara Jensen in 2015.

Funeral service was Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Visitation Tuesday, June 9, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
