CIRCLE CITY AUDIO RELOCATES TO WAYNEDALE WITH A STATE-OF-THE-ARTS FACILITY

Circle-City-AudioHave you ever been to an event where you couldn’t quite make out what the speaker was saying or the band’s sound just wasn’t coming out right? How about under lighted or over lighted performers? Or a hard to read projected screen that was too fuzzy to read? This new-to-Waynedale company has set out to fix these issues and make any event, house of worship or performing arts center look and sound like a professional venue.

Circle City Audio is a commercial AV design-build firm that is 20 years old this year. Founded in Indianapolis, the company spread north to Fort Wayne about 9 years ago and has been operating out of a small office and warehouse facility on West Coliseum since 2007. Company owner Andrew Van Veld proudly stated, “This year, Circle City Audio simply ran out of space so we relocated on the corner of Lower Huntington and Ardmore and have remodeled the facility so that not only houses our local office and installation staff but we outfitted it as a performance and demonstration venue.”

Circle City Audio already works with some churches in the Waynedale area (St. Therese, Avalon, and Fellowship) as well as many others in Fort Wayne. These guys (and gals) primarily build and install custom AV systems including sound, lighting and video, but they also have the ability to enhance preexisting systems. Much of their work is first drafted with special AV digital software that allows them to see and hear what specific speakers and lighting might be like in a particular venue. This computer aided design also helps to maximize the value of their client’s audience experience. Once a system is customized and installed, they also train the venue’s operators of the system to be sure they can use the system to its full capability producing professional quality AV as intended.

They have sound and lighting systems for rental and have done multiple events in various Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Lafayette, Grand Rapids and even Baltimore, Maryland venues this year alone. Circle City Audio events are both indoors and outdoors ranging from ultra-fabulous weddings to crazy youth conferences, even hosting former Governor Daniels at the Fort Wayne Chamber offices with sound, lighting, and video production.

Circle City Audio plans to host various training and awareness events at their facility – the next one currently scheduled is November 11th and 12th and will feature products from various manufacturers that focus on performance audio systems and peripherals for churches and school auditoriums. If you would like to attend either of these November events, RSVP is appreciated by calling or stopping into our Waynedale location. There will also be periodic “Lunch (or Breakfast) and Learn” events that will focus on specific technologies and practices for educational, church and business markets.
