HELEN J. LICHTSINN, 86

HELEN J. LICHTSINN, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Saint Anne Home. Born March 1, 1927, in Harpersville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Regiec) Demski.

She worked and retired from General Electric. She was a member of the GE Elex Club, Quarter Century Club, El-Par; Stitch for Charity; and a 46-year member of St. Therese Catholic Church.

Surviving family include her daughters, Vicki (Kerry) Blauvelt, Renee (James) Prochniak and Debbie (Bruce) Hall; grandchildren, Wendy (Scott Woods) Blauvelt, Christopher (Julie) Blauvelt, Kelly (Scott) Parrot, James Prochniak, Patrick (Amanda) Prochniak, and Madison Hall; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Jillian, Camden, Lucas, Alaina, and Carter; and sisters-in-law, Ann Demski and Edie Vatalaro.

She was also preceded in passing by her husband, Paul Lichtsinn.

Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation 1/2 hour prior. Visitation also from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with an El-Par service at 3 p.m. and a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
