Shhhhhh, don’t tell! I have a secret. Did you know that La Fogata could quite possibly be the best Mexican food in Fort Wayne I have ever tried? Tucked quietly away off of the main drag on Bluffton road, La Fogata is ready to serve you a taste of truly authentic Mexican food.
You can expect to be greeted with helpful and attentive service whether you are dining in or carrying out. Either way, as you peruse the menu, sit back and enjoy the genuine Mexican music while surrounded by the colorful décor. La Fogata’s menu includes an extensive breakfast menu served all day, a full lunch and dinner menu, a kids menu, and of course dessert options. You can also find daily specials for both lunch and dinner.
From the dinner menu, may I suggest the “Enchiladas Suizas?” ($7.49) These are wonderful chicken enchiladas served with home made rice and beans. But, before digging in with your entre I also recommend the queso and guacamole as appetizers; again homemade and delicious! Another great option would be the “Flautas de Pollo” ($7.49), crispy and cooked perfectly. Top off your meal with traditional Mexican style flan!
