Waynedale’s salute to spring begins with an Easter Egg Hunt. For the 3rd year the Waynedale Community Improvement Team will bring families together at the Waynedale Park Pavilion.
The Easter Egg event is free. Simply bring an Easter basket. Kids of all ages can hunt for the highly decorated eggs. Special gifts await those children that find the “golden” eggs!
Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny is making an egg-citing return and will be available for photos, as well as other mascots from local businesses.
Coupons will be given away supported by local restaurants. Then take a break and rest for a bit to color a picture featuring the Easter Bunny to later hang on your refrigerator.
Come out to the Waynedale Park for all the fun! See you there on Saturday, March 23rd at 2pm!
Easter in Waynedale is one of several community events organized by The Waynedale Community Improvement Team and is sponsored by various local businesses and residents. Christmas in Waynedale is another example of a successful community event created by the group. The Waynedale team is also heading up projects such as a Community Center, access to the Fort Wayne Trails, sidewalks and enhancing the Waynedale Memorial Day Parade.
The Team is made up of local volunteers who are interested in improving the quality of life for Waynedale residents. Anyone interested is welcome to sit in on the meetings as long as you live or work in the Waynedale area.
