STUDENTS PRESENT CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS
In December, the students and musical directors of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School presented two different Christmas programs for school staff, families and friends this Christmas season.
The first Christmas program presentation on December 18 included the preschoolers and the kindergartners singing lively Christmas songs. The 1st through 4th graders sang, danced and acted in the play “Miracle on Main Street.” The 1st through 4th graders were directed by music teacher Mrs. Joan Abbott.
The second program on December 19 included the 5th through 8th graders in the band, show choir and three guitar groups. The various groups presented a number of familiar Christmas carols, plus some new songs as well. The show choir and guitar group #3 joined together to present a number of festive Christmas songs. The band is directed by Ms. Danielle Rush. The show choir is directed by Mrs. Katie Slee. The three guitar groups are directed by Mr. Ken Jehle.
All the Christmas programs were presented in the Parish Activity Center at the St. Elizabeth campus.
