STUDENTS PERFORM IN “ALICE IN WONDERLAND JUNIOR”

STUDENTS PERFORM IN “ALICE IN WONDERLAND JUNIOR”On May 18 and 19, St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School 5th through 8th graders performed in the musical Alice in Wonderland Junior at the St. Elizabeth campus for fellow students, families and friends.

Forty-one talented students acted, sang and danced in the musical’s fun and memorable musical numbers such as “I’m Late!,” “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah,” “The Unbirthday Song,” and “Painting the Roses Red.” Three students worked as the stage crew.

On stage, large, multi-colored trees, mushrooms and flowers recreated the magical Wonderland that Alice visits after she falls through the rabbit hole in pursuit of the White Rabbit. Alice embarks on a series of adventures where she meets all the weird and wonderful creatures who inhabit Wonderland, such as Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, the Cheshire Cats, the Mat Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts.

St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School puts on a school musical each spring. The directors for Alice in Wonderland Junior were Molly Slocum and Megan Ryan.
