CHARLES N. POWELL, 91

CHARLES N. POWELL, 91, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 in Indianapolis. He was born November 22, 1920 in Connerville, IN to the late Roscoe A. and Anna L. (Sherry) Powell. Mr. Powell retired in 1982 after 40 1/2 years at Navistar as a Metallurgist. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and was an Army Veteran.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Shirley J. (Eddy) Powell, now residing in Indianapolis; daughter, Cheryl (Dr. Fred) Guengerich of Nashville, TN; sons, Jeff (Lisa) Powell and Greg (Sharon) Powell, both of Indianapolis; and nine grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death was a sister Mildred Stephan.
Funeral Service was Monday, April 30, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Dr., Fort Wayne, IN 46819, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
