THE (SAL) SONS OF AMERICAN LEGION SQUADRON #241 DONATES A GENEROUS AMOUNT TO BOY SCOUT TROOP #344
This is the second time the (SAL) donated to Troop #344 sponsored by the Waynedale United Method Church, located at the corner of Old Trail Road and Church Street.
Troop #344, would like to recognize the SAL for its donation; and the Troop will be happy to assist the American Legion Post with some service projects, such as with some inside cleaning, and pick up of light trash around the perimeter of the Legion property.
Every year we have parents that have to turn down their son’s request to go to Summer Camp at Anthony Wayne Area Council’s Camp Chief Little Turtle because of lack of funds. This year because of the donation provided by the (SAL), the Troop will have sufficient funds to provide camperships for any boy that would not have been able to afford to go to camp.
