4TH ANNUAL TASTE OF WAYNEDALE!

By popular demand, Kingston Residence will host their 4th annual “Taste of Waynedale” on Tuesday, March 20th from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at their community located at 7515 Winchester Road. The proceeds from this event will go to Community Harvest Food Bank and Fort Wayne Trails – Waynedale Initiative.

Currently, 23 local restaurants and businesses will offer samples of a variety of food or drink; perhaps a house specialty or seasonal and new items. Vendors will also provide coupons and literature about their eatery. Area restaurants who currently plan to participate include Azar’s Big Boy, Bandido’s, Belmont Beverage Store, Captain Ron’s Corral, Casa Ristorante Italiano, China Palace, Ellison’s Bakery, The Friendly Fox, Gimme Diner/Mike’s Donuts, GFS Marketplace, Hall’s Original Drive In, Kingston Residence, The Landmark Centre, Nine Mile Restaurant, Nino’s Bar & Grill, Penguin Point, Pizza Hut, Popcotton Flavored Popcorn, Spyro’s, Subway, T8stee-Tizzzzz Bar-b-que & Soulfood, The Stand, and Waynedale Bakery.

Other businesses that are providing support to the event include The Waynedale News, JW Signs and both Hair Affair and Curves who are also selling tickets. In addition, there will be over 50 Silent Auction items to bid on that have been donated by local businesses.

“We are very excited that several new restaurants are joining us this year in addition to our many favorites who have participated before” stated Marketing Director Camille Garrison. “Kingston Residence is also pleased to dedicate a portion of the proceeds of this year’s event to initiate a fund to support linking Waynedale with the rest of the Fort Wayne Trails network.”

Tickets are $15.00 each if paid in advance, $20 the day of the event. Please RSVP to 747-1523 or stop by between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday to pick up your tickets.
