SMOKE ON THE WIND: GET YOUR SMILE BACK
I have a friend who has a store in North Webster called Native Images. Her name is Kellie. She is a good Native American woman, even though she’s not a Mohawk. 🙂 I love talking with her, and you will also, so when you visit her store, tell her a Mohawk by the name of Dancing Feather sent you.
I was in her store not long ago and met a Blackfoot Indian man. I sensed he needed and wanted to talk to me. We talked for a while. He did not smile. I asked him to visit me at Peace Tree Ridge, and we could talk more. Kellie knew it was important for him to talk to an elder, and she brought him to our home. She even closed her business for the day to bring him. That’s what love is about and what we call “The Indian Way.” Thank you, Kellie. You’re special. And the Blackfoot man? He got his smile back. If you want to see smiling faces, go to Native Images in North Webster. Talk to Kellie. And if you have lost your smile and want to get it back, we will all get together and help you so that you too can pass it along like my new found friend that I call Smiley.
