FLYING SQUIRRELS ARE BACK IN WAYNEDALE
A few flying squirrels paid a visit to the Walker home in the winter a few years ago, but they have not seen them since. In mid-August, right after Karen’s husband had filled the bird feeders, Karen spotted this little fellow at 9:30 p.m. enjoying sunflower seeds in the feeder attached to the tree in front of their home.
Flying squirrels are nocturnal. It is rare to see them much less get a photo of them. Thank you Karen!
