OH YES, LOOK!
On March 23, 2011, St. Therese held its annual Literacy Fair. Forty-five Pre-K to Grade 3 students and their families attended the evening event according to Kathy Ehinger, Literacy Fair Coordinator. Each family traveled to 8 different booths and completed activities centered on a book. At the end of the evening, all of the families were treated to ice cream (donated by Edy’s Ice Cream) and a copy of each of the books featured at a booth. All of the books were purchased with a grant from GE Volunteers.
Our in-house staff works with community members and our local writers to find, write and edit the latest and most interesting news-worthy stories. We are your free community newspaper, boasting positive, family friendly and unique news.
