WEEKLY COMMUNITY MEALS
Jared Thompson, a junior at Carroll High School and a longtime member of the Aldersgate Community, 2417 Getz Road, wanted to figure out a way to do something meaningful in our community. Specifically, he wanted to reach out to those who may not always have a hot meal to eat.
This month, Jared’s vision has become a reality. He and a group of hardworking youth and adults from Aldersgate have spent the last year organizing a free, weekly meal program. Me-‘N-U kicked off January 20 at the church. Anyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy a hot meal, free of charge, in a relaxed, sit-down atmosphere.
