ENJOY HAWAII DAY
On a cold and wintry Wednesday, January 26, the St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School kindergartners participated in “Hawaii Day.”
It’s a morning when all three kindergarten classes, their teachers and teacher’s aides dress up in beach dress and fly on a wild “plane ride” piloted by Assistant Principal Stan Liponoga to Hawaii.
The kindergartners take part in tropical-themed activities such as tasting fresh coconut and coconut milk and participating in hula hoop and limbo contests.
Even Principal Lois Widner joined in Hawaii Day, helping out at one of the activity stations dressed in tropical dress.
