JUNIOR GIRL SCOUTS RECEIVE AWARD
On June 11th, the St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School 5th grade Junior Girl Scouts were awarded the Bronze Award after the All-School Mass.
The Bronze Award is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can receive. To receive the Bronze Award, each Junior Girl Scout must choose a service project and put in 15 service hours. The Junior Girl Scouts chose Project Linus and made 40 blankets for Project Linus to distribute to children who are in hospitals, children who are burn victims, and other children with special needs.
The St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School Junior Girls Scouts who received the Bronze Award include: Rachel Baehl, Clara Chilian, Natalie Cromp, Christine Gallagher, Laura Magner, Caitlyn McMahan, and Alicia Speer. The award was presented to them by their Junior Girl Scout leaders Kathy Baehl and Lanette Gallagher.
