BOB CHASE VISITS KINGSTON RESIDENCE

Kingston Residence Assisted Living, 7515 Winchester Road, hosted an open house and book signing on Thursday, April 29th featuring the legend Bob Chase. Well known for his years with WOWO and as the voice of the Komets, Bob spent three hours at Kingston visiting with guests and residents, posing for photos and personally signing his book, “Live from Radio Rinkside.”

The first 10 guests to arrive were treated to a free autographed copy of the book. Everyone who attended enjoyed a choice of meals: homemade lasagna or turkey club and soup, along with all the sides plus cake for dessert.

Kingston Executive Director Erin Floyd said, “It was fun watching Bob Chase interact with the residents of Kingston and with our guests. Bob is as entertaining in person as he was on WOWO all of these wonderful years.”

Resident Gladys Lambert purchased one of his books and had it signed. She said, “I was favorably impressed with Bob; he was a very interesting fellow, so talkative and friendly with everyone.”

Kingston Residence offers studio and one-bedroom apartments; home cooked meals, housekeeping and utilities as well as full time nursing support. Call 747-1523 to come for a free lunch and tour.
