RUTH E. KELLER, 84
RUTH E. KELLER, 84, of Roanoke, formerly of Waynedale, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born July 20, 1925, in Fort Wayne, she retired from Royal Lace after 24 years of service. She was a member of Waynedale Eastern Star, Chapter 600, since 1953; Past President of American Legion Auxiliary 241 and Chaplain, 50-year member; Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxiliary 248; Past President PTA Pleasant Center School and attended The Chapel.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Carl) Klender of Columbia City, Cheryl (Larry) Holzinger of Roanoke and Gene (Denise) Keller of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Juanita Yoder of Merrillville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Leo Keller, in 1993; parents, Clarence A. and Velma C. (Johnson) Seslar; and brother, Donald Seslar.
Service was 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
