Michele Andrews
Michele Andrews is a full-blown Hoosier and Waynedaler. She was born in a Fort Wayne hospital then followed her mom and dad home to Waynedale. She has seen bits and pieces of the world while serving a stint in the United States Navy. The farthest bit being St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.
Michele has a daughter named Siana, who is gadabout town, from a very early age Siana could be seen strolling with her mom around Waynedale to the grocery store, library, various festivals and parades. Siana is homeschooled her only complaint being, “We need to take more fieldtrips!”
Michele bought her first home in Waynedale a couple years ago. She pays the bills by working at the WBCL Radio Network.
Michele and Siana, along with their Grannie B, are members of Waynedale Baptist Church. They are also active in the homeschool theatre troupe Audience of One.
Michele was a theatre major at IPFW and earned a bachelor’s degree in Theology form the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne. She is thrilled to be part of the Waynedale News team and looks forward to encouraging homeschoolers face to face or in her monthly column Homeschooling Is Where The Heart Is!
