RENNER PROMOTED AT CANI
Steve Hoffman has been named Director of Administration at CANI, Community Action of Northeast Indiana, from Director of Planning and Development. In his prior role, he has directed the community development, planning, marketing, and fundraising efforts at CANI. In his new role, he also will direct the Clerical, Fiscal, Human Resources, and Information Technology departments.
Mr. Hoffman has been employed at CANI since 1999. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in both Political Science and History from Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, and a Master of Public Administration Degree from Ball State University. He has been the Director of Planning and Development at CANI since 2002.
Mr. Hoffman serves as chairperson of The Southeast Youth Council Board of Directors and local 211 Cabinet and is on the United Way of Allen County Board of Directors. He is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He is a graduate of Taylor University’s Institute of Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Fort Wayne, and the National Community Action Management Academy and is a certified Family Development Specialist.
Also at CANI, Jennifer Renner has been promoted to Development Supervisor from Development Coordinator. She and her husband, Brad, have lived in Waynedale for 11 years.
Scott Kinsey has been promoted to Information Technology Supervisor from Computer Systems and Network Specialist.
CANI annually serves more than 30,000 low-income people in eight northeastern Indiana counties. CANI builds hope for people in poverty by providing resources, helping people gain access to opportunities, and teaching them the skills they need to become self-sufficient.
