BRUCE BLALOCK SELECTED PRESIDENT & CEO OF LUTHERAN HOMES, INC.
Robert Meyer, Board of Directors Chair, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Blalock as President & CEO of Lutheran Homes, Inc., 6701 South Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana. Lutheran Home and Concord Village in Fort Wayne and Shepherd of the Hill in Kendallville, Indiana are divisions of Lutheran Homes, Inc.
Mr. Blalock has sixteen years experience in management and leadership positions in significantly growing non-profit retirement communities in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise especially in the fields of: Financial & Strategic Planning; Budget Development & Management; Corporate Expansion and Startups; and Short & Long Term Financing. Bruce considers his greatest strength to be listening and believes this to be an important attribute related to his role as CEO.
Mr. Blalock is no stranger to Indiana having graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana with a degree in accounting. He and his wife, Julie are parents of three children, Ingrid 9, Brevin 7, and Svea 6. They are excited about their move to the Fort Wayne area.
