JW Signs has been in business since January 1, 1987. JW (Jon Walker) retired from Fort Wayne Fire Department after 25 years of service and decided to take up sign manufacturing as a part-time job. The first signs he completed were for Century 21 Real Estate and he has been busy from that time on.

JW has operated his business from the corner of Bluffton and Alma from the onset of the company. His new building will be just down the road at 2511 Alma. His partner, Nancy Woosley has worked with the company for 13 years and they have four additional employees. Besides real estate, JW Signs also does vehicle lettering and is otherwise a full service sign shop.

The new pole barn type building will enclose 5,000 square feet and provide room for offices, layout and production.
