JOHN G. NEFF, 80
JOHN G. NEFF, 80, died Friday, December 17, 2004. The Hoagland native was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and received his engineering degree from Purdue University. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and the American Legion and had retired as plant Engineer for Rea Magnet Wire after 30 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Judith A. Teeters of Fort Wayne; son, Steven R. (Marla) Neff of West Lafayette; six grandchildren; and his sister, Eleanor (Eugene) Colditz of Huntington Beach, California.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth R. Neff, in 1997.
Funeral service was Tuesday, December 21, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Avenue. Calling was Monday, December 20, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
