LAWRENCE V. “LARRY” FARMER, 80
Lawrence V. “Larry” Farmer, 80, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at St. Joseph Medical Center. A native of Fort Wayne, he was a Safety Coordinator for International Harvester and a carry out for Rogers/Scotts in Waynedale. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post #296. He was an Army WWII veteran and received a Purple Heart. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all. A sister Mary Margaret Hall preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen “Katie” Farmer, Fort Wayne; daughters Carol (Dave) Locker, Fort Wayne; Barbara (Brian) Dombkowski, Warsaw, Indiana; Wendy (Dan) Flotow, Roanoke, Indiana; son Terry (Debbie) Farmer, Fort Wayne; 8 Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandchild.
Services were held Saturday, September 20, 2003 at St. Therese Catholic Church with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Therese Catholic Church Building Fund or Donor’s choice. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
