THREE RIVERS FCU BREAKS GROUND
A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the 19th Three Rivers Federal Credit Union branch on Thursday, August 21, 2003. The intended facility will be located on Bluffton and Winchester Roads. It will be a 3,012 square foot financial solutions center for the area, potentially adding 8 new jobs at its completion in December of this year. There will be 4 drive-up lanes, 1 drive-up ATM and 5 teller stations.
“We are very pleased to be meeting the personal and business needs of current and future members by adding increased convenience to their financial lives,” said Three Rivers President and CEO, James G. Mills. “We are also proud to be fulfilling their wishes in a way that exemplifies the Three Rivers commitment to the Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana communities by locating in an area that has tremendous potential for economic growth and stability.”
Attending the event in addition to representatives for the Three Rivers FCU Senior Management Team and Board of Directors were Fort Wayne Mayor Graham Richard, the Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Membership Scott Taylor, the South Side Business Group President Rick Bender, Fourth District City Councilman Tom Hayhurst, representing the MER Group President Mike Romary, and Jeff Hile from the MSKDT Company.
