ELSIE MAE SCOTT, 76
Elsie Mae Scott, 76, died Friday, April 25, 2003 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. A native of Fort Wayne, she was a reflexologist, a former contract hauler for Fort Wayne Newspapers, and a former waitress for Tony’s and the Waynewood Inn in Waynedale. She was a beloved wife & mother who truly enjoyed her family and friends and was a member of Monson Chapel UMC.
She is survived by her husband Robert D. Scott, Fort Wayne; son Terry L. Scott, Fort Wayne; brother Carl E. Hess, Yoder, Indiana; sister Mary Alice Schlaudraff, Markle, Indiana. Her pallbearers were Evertt Gammons, Richard Scott, Don Mendenhall, Gary Hess, Brayton Snow, and Randy Taylor. She was the daughter of Garrett Hess and Mabel (Smith).
Services were held Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Rev. George Chatham of the Tillman Road Church of God officiated. Preferred memorials to Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice.
