BISHOP LUERS HIGH SCHOOL
BLHS invites all interested 7th grade students to the annual 7th grade visitation mornings. Students can visit either Wednesday, May 8th or Thursday, May 9th from 8:30am to 10:30am. A program will inform students on the academic, athletic and spiritual opportunities available to students at BLHS. For more information or to register call BLHS at 456-1261.
WAYNE HIGH SCHOOL
WHS conflict mediation program, Students Talking Out Problems (STOP), hosts the 7th Annual Peace Party on Friday, April 26, 2002. WHS will be the site where 100 conflict managers, parents, and Fort Wayne Community Schools staff members will celebrate the message of peaceful resolution to conflict.
Believing that conflict is inevitable and combat is optional, the Wayne student mediators dedicate themselves to supporting mediation initiatives. Trained to serve as mediation panelists, the thirteen high school students will share the peace message with their counterparts in the Wayne-area elementary and middle schools. The evening promises to be enjoyable, loud, and exciting.
